Can a GP manage my diabetes by telehealth?

Many regular diabetes reviews work well by phone or video, especially with recent test results. Some checks, like your feet and eyes, need to be done in person.

Can I renew my diabetes medicines online?

Yes, if your treatment has been stable for 6 months or more. For changes or new results, book a $49 consult.

What is HbA1c?

A blood test that shows your average blood sugar over about 3 months. It's usually checked every 3 to 6 months.

Do you treat type 1 diabetes?

Type 1 diabetes is usually managed with a specialist team. A GP can help with scripts and referrals, but not urgent insulin changes.

How do I know if I have diabetes?

Only a blood test can tell. If you're tired, thirsty or weeing more, book a consult and your GP can arrange tests.
